A note on our labeling: We're updating this listing to correctly reflect its true botanical identity. For some time, our labels — like most in the herbal market — named this plant Nymphaea caerulea, the Egyptian blue lotus. That wasn't intentional; it's a mislabeling that runs across the industry, and by most estimates, the vast majority of "blue lotus" sold in the U.S. is actually this Asian species, not the true Egyptian water lily. We appreciate your understanding as we correct our labeling and website to reflect what this plant actually is.
Our bulk Asian blue lotus flowers are perfect for your spiritual, ritual, aromatic, and research needs. These whole flowers include petals and other floral structures but not isolated stamens, offering a broader spectrum of traditional flower use.
Sourced from clean growing environments in Thailand, Asian blue lotus flowers (Nymphaea nouchali) are the true "blue lotus" of South and Southeast Asia — the national flower of both Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, with centuries of documented use in Ayurvedic and Siddha traditions and Buddhist symbolism. Today, early laboratory and animal research continues to explore their possible properties.*

Good stuff for sleep
I have been able to titrate my nightly Trazadone doses to intermittent dosages at 1/2 what I was taking by making a tea with ground blue lotus flower, chamomile, lavender, and valerian root.
These lotus flowers are potent and very effective. Highly recommend these if you are seeking BLF. They are very high-quality.
