Revered in herbalism and Traditional Chinese Medicine as the “King of Herbs,” Chaga is a unique and potent fungus with a rich legacy of traditional use across Russia, Siberia, Korea, Northern Europe, and North America. While often mistaken for a mushroom, Chaga is actually a sclerotium—a dense, hardened mass of mycelium that grows primarily on birch trees in cold northern forests.
Our Chaga tincture is made using wild-harvested Chaga from birch forests in the Eastern U.S., and extracted using a traditional double-extraction method to capture both water-soluble polysaccharides and alcohol-soluble triterpenes like betulinic acid.
